I specialize in Developmental Disorders in adults (and usually take "adulthood" to begin at seventeen years). Many parents find that obtaining specialist advice, especially from NHS services, for older teenagers who are still at school is very difficult. In particular, there may be a wish to plan ahead for higher education.
I have experience of assessment and treatment of children and younger teenagers, and occasionally (if I receive a referral from a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, for example) a consultation might be appropriate.
